Berries are where it’s at! 

Berries improve digestive health, balance blood glucose, and protect your blood vessels, allowing proper nutrient and oxygen delivery to all organs, including the eyes and brain. 

The more creative ways you can think of to include berries into your diet, the better off you will be. 

Enjoying them alongside other fruits, tahini, yogurt, and seeds creates a full bowl of all essential nutrients. Blackstrap molasses adds a nice dose of iron, while cacao adds magnesium and B vitamins. We love to include them in the mix.

Ingredients

1 cup fruit such as sliced bananas, apples, pears, peaches or your favorites
¼ cup coconut yogurt, store-bought or homemade
1 cup fresh berries
1 ½ tablespoons tahini
2 teaspoons blackstrap molasses, optional
1 tablespoon hemp and/or chia seeds
1 tablespoon cacao nibs

Method

Place fruit and berries in bowls. Top with coconut yogurt. Drizzle with tahini and molasses.
Top with hemp seeds, chia seeds and cacao nibs before serving.

Variations

Double up on the hemp, chia, and cacao.
Add 1 tablespoon of seeds such as pumpkin, or sunflower, or chopped nuts such as walnuts or pecans.
Replace the tahini with almond butter or peanut butter.
